ABOUT W. S. DI PIERO
W. S. Di Piero is the author of nine books of poetry, the most recent being Chinese Apples: New and Selected Poems (2007). The latest of his four collections of essays is City Dog (2008). He writes a regular column on the visual arts for an independent newspaper, the San Diego Reader, and frequently contributes essays on poetry, personal experience, and popular culture to Threepenny Review, Poetry, and other magazines. A new collection of his art writings, When Can I See You Again?, has just been published by Pressed Wafer, and in 2011 Copper Canyon Press will bring out his new book of poems, Nitro Nights. He lives in San Francisco.
